Egret so-called MOPP tape or TPP tape is used a lot for refrigerators or coolers. It has both blue color and white color; main thickness is 80 mic and 110 mic. Normally is coated with natural rubber glue or solvent based acrylic adhesive. Plus, it has no liner. The base material is tensilized PP film. The tape pp material has very high tensile strength and low elongation, not stretchable, and hard to tear. Because of this feature, it is suitable for temporarily holding the cabinet. In the meantime, after you remove the MOPP strapping tape, it has no glue residue on the surface. Silicon coating on the back side is easy for you to release.

Process of MOPP Tape Production

NO.1

First, we will choose 55 mic or 86 mic thickness MOPP film.

Second, we use blue paint or white to dye the MOPP film.

Third, we coat different silicon on the back side of MOPP blue or white film, to ensure its easy release or unwind.

Forth, we coat with very high bond natural rubber or solvent based adhesives.

NO.5

Finally, we use our lathe slitting machines to cut the jumbo rolls to different standard or nonstandard width and length of small rolls. The jumbo size is 1240mmx1000m. In the meanwhile, we can also rewind to small logs, size can be 1240x50m.
