Egret so-called Weather seal PE tape is used a lot for glasshouses, greenhouse, window repair or protection. Normally coated with solvent-based acrylic glue with very strong adhesion. Plus, it has no liner. The base material is clear or blue polyethylene. The material has relative high elongation rate, not very stretchable, and not easy to tear. Because of this feature, it is suitable for seal the air leaks of windows and repair the glass or film. In the meantime, after you remove the pe tape, it has no glue residue on the surface. On the other hand, transparent color is easy for you to see through. Silicon coating on the back side is easy for you to release.

Process of Weather Seal PE Tape Production

NO.1

First, we will choose 130 mic to thickness clear polyethylene film.

Second, we use blue paint to dye the pe thick film if transparent color, then no need to dye.

NO.3

Third, we coat silicon on the back side of PE thick film, to ensure its easy release or unwind.

NO.4

Forth, we coat with very high bond water based or solvent based acrylic adhesives.

NO.5

Finally, we use our lathe slitting machines to cut the jumbo rolls to different standard or nonstandard width and length of small rolls. The jumbo size is 1200mmx1000m.
